Who we are

This website is run by SKR Travels & Logistics LTD, trading as SKR Executive Chauffeurs (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Scotland (company number SC697410). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

Questions about your data? Email skrtravels.scotland@gmail.com or call +44 7545 614795.

What we collect

  • Booking requests: your name, email, phone number, pickup and drop-off addresses, dates and times, flight number, number of passengers and luggage, and any notes you give us (for example a passenger's name or child seat needs).
  • Messages: what you send us through the contact form, by phone, email or WhatsApp.
  • Booking and payment records: details of journeys we carry out and payments made. Card payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
  • Website usage: anonymous, cookie-free statistics about which pages are visited (see Cookies below).

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To quote for, arrange and carry out your journey, and to contact you about it: this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract.
  • To answer your questions: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
  • To keep accounting and tax records: our legal obligations (HMRC requires business records to be kept for 6 years).
  • To keep the website secure and working well: our legitimate interests.

We don't sell your information, and we don't send marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

Only with the services we need to run the business, who process it on our behalf:

  • Vercel (website hosting and anonymous usage statistics)
  • Resend (delivering website messages and booking requests to our inbox by email)
  • Our payment provider (processing your payment when you use our payment link)
  • TomTom (Netherlands), Photon (run by komoot, Germany) and postcodes.io (UK), which suggest addresses, find locations and work out journey routes as you fill in the booking form. Only the addresses and postcodes you enter are sent, from our server, so they aren't linked to you. Some address suggestions use OpenStreetMap data.
  • WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to send your request or message to us through WhatsApp; your use of WhatsApp is also covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy
  • Our chauffeurs, who need your name, contact number and journey details to carry out your booking

Some of these providers are based in, or may process data in, the United States. Where that happens, your information is protected by the UK's adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Booking and payment records: 6 years after the journey, as required for tax purposes.
  • Requests and messages that don't lead to a booking: up to 12 months.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your personal information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to have it transferred to you or another organisation. To make a request, contact us using the details above. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our visitor statistics are anonymous and cookie-free, so we don't need to ask for your consent.
